AUSTIN, TX – A Wednesday morning accident on the interstate in east-central Austin caused significant delays while crews worked at the scene, reports Total Traffic Austin.

The incident happened sometime before 9:50 a.m. on the southbound side of I-35 at Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard, which is just east of Mike Myers Stadium.
The crash blocked the right three lanes of traffic on I-35 southbound, which caused congestion on the interstate as far back as East 51st Street. Crews were able to clear the scene and re-open all lanes of traffic by around 10:45 a.m.
