AUSTIN, TX – One person went to the hospital with critical injuries Sunday after crashing their vehicle along a busy south Austin roadway, reports ATCEMS.

The incident happened around 2:35 p.m. on the southbound side of Lamar Boulevard near Dudmar Drive, which is north of the Burger Activity Center.
Police are still investigating the cause of the accident. They’ve not yet indicated what might have caused the driver to lose control of their vehicle and crash into a tree.
