AUSTIN, TX – Police in South Austin were forced to close off at least one lane on South Lamar Boulevard following a rush-hour crash Friday morning.

According to KXAN, the wreck happened near the intersection of South Lamar Blvd. and Lamar Square Drive shortly after 9:30 a.m. No injuries have been reported as a result of the collision.

Officials are advising motorists to find an alternate route around this portion of South Lamar Blvd. at Lamar Sq. Dr., as delays and closures are likely throughout Friday afternoon.
