AUSTIN, TX — One person was seriously injured Friday night in a vehicle accident in northeast Austin’s Windsor Hills neighborhood, according to CBS Austin.
Austin-Travis County EMS responded to the scene between the 10703-10817 blocks of Dessau Road shortly after 7:00 p.m.
Few details have been reported, but one occupant was found pinned inside a vehicle after a crash. Crews had to perform a rescue extrication before transporting the victim to Dell Seton Medical Center with serious injuries.
The victim’s condition was not disclosed, but they were declared a trauma alert upon their removal from the vehicle.
No other serious injuries were reported, but one other occupant declined transport to a hospital.
Authorities have not released any additional information on the event.
