AUSTIN, TX – Emergency teams administered CPR at the scene of a vehicle versus motorcycle crash along Bee Cave Road Wednesday evening, reports ATCEMS.

The incident happened around 6:24 p.m. just west of the intersection with Montebello Road and the Shops at Mira Vista.

The circumstances of the collision remain under investigation. Response crews initially reported the incident as a bicycle crash but later clarified that the wreck actually involved a vehicle and a motorcycle.

Emergency teams worked to resuscitate one victim at the scene, whom medics transported to Dell Seton with life-threatening injuries.

Officials asked drivers to avoid this area of Bee Cave Road while crews worked at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
