AUSTIN, TX – Medics airlifted one person Sunday night from the scene of an accident in North Austin involving a vehicle and a bus, Fox 7 Austin reports.

EMS officials say the wreck happened just before 11 p.m. near the intersection of Dessau Road and Bradbury Lane. When EMS responded to the scene, they found a car pinned beneath the back of a bus.

Crews worked to remove one person from the vehicle. Medics then airlifted that person to Dell Seton with serious injuries.

Authorities have not shared information about how the crash occurred. They also have not said if anyone else sustained injuries in the accident. The incident is under investigation, and our team will work to update the blog if further details become available.
