AUSTIN, TX – A crash on Interstate 35 in Austin Thursday afternoon left one person dead, according to a report by KVUE.
A motorcycle and a vehicle were involved in a collision near 5800 N. I-35 southbound in the vicinity of U.S. 290 at about 12:07 p.m., Austin-Travis County EMS said.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene, though no details were released about the person’s identity or what led to the crash.
The Texas Department of Transportation said traffic was being detoured to the frontage road at exit 240.
