AUSTIN, TX – A woman died and another driver was seriously injured in an Austin car wreck that happened in the early hours Monday.

According to CBS Austin, the woman was driving on FM 973 near Austin-Bergstrom International Airport when she veered off the roadway. She over-corrected coming back onto the road and struck a pickup.

The woman was transported to an area hospital but ultimately died from her injuries. The other driver was hospitalized with serious injuries.
