AUSTIN, TX – Emergency crews responded to the scene of a crash in southwest Austin Tuesday that left one person injured, according to KXAN.
The accident happened in the area of Slaughter Lane and Vinemont Drive, and was reported shortly after noon. Austin-Travis County EMS said a vehicle crashed into a tree at that location, leaving a person pinned inside.
The victim, who was reported to be unconscious, was extricated and rushed to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center. No further information on their condition was released.
Drivers were advised to expect traffic delays on Slaughter Lane.
