AUSTIN, TX – One person sustained serious injuries Sunday in a motorcycle accident in northwest Austin, reports CBS Austin.

The incident happened just after midnight in the area of 9400 Research Boulevard, which is just northwest of Mopac Expressway and south of TX-360.

It’s not yet clear what caused the accident or if other vehicles were involved. Medics transported one adult to Dell Seton Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

Officials warned drivers to expect significant delays in the area while crews attended to the victim and worked to clear the wreckage from the scene.
