AUSTIN, TX – EMS transported one person to the hospital after a collision Sunday night on northbound Research Boulevard in North Austin, KXAN Austin reports. 

Officials say the incident happened around around 11:30 p.m. at the intersection of Stonelake Boulevard and Research Boulevard, or US-183.

Police have not shared many details regarding the circumstances of the crash but did say that a vehicle overturned and that one person sustained critical injuries.

Crews closed the northbound lanes of Research Boulevard for almost two hours while they investigated and worked to clear the scene.
