AUSTIN, TX – Medics took one person to the hospital Wednesday morning after their vehicle crashed in the Dove Springs area, reports CBS Austin.

The incident happened around 1:22 a.m. at 4413 Dove Drive, which is south of East Stassney Lane and west of South Pleasant Valley Road.

Officials say that one person sustained serious injuries when their vehicle overturned along a residential street. The cause of the accident is still under investigation. 

The patient went to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center on a trauma alert. 

The investigation is ongoing.
