AUSTIN, TX – Medics transported one person to the hospital after a 2-vehicle collision along the interstate in south Austin on Monday, reports ATCEMS.

The incident happened around 2:11 p.m. on the southbound Service Road of I-35 between Battle Bend Boulevard and East Stassney Lane.
Police have not yet shared the cause of the accident. They say that one vehicle rolled and that one person became entrapped in their vehicle.
Medics worked to extricate the trapped patient, who then went to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center with non-critical injuries.
A full investigation is underway.
