DEL VALLE, TX – A single-vehicle accident at a Del Valle intersection sent one person to the hospital early Saturday, reports Fox 7 Austin.

The incident happened around 2:34 a.m. at the intersection of Pearce Lane and Kellam Road, which is south of Southeast Metropolitan Park.

Police haven’t shared any details about the cause of the accident, but they say one person became entrapped in their vehicle and required extrication.

Medics transported the victim to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center on a trauma alert.

The investigation is ongoing.
