AUSTIN, TX – One person went to the hospital Wednesday afternoon following a truck accident in northwest Austin, reports ATCEMS.

The incident occurred at 3:52 p.m. on Highlands Boulevard near Duffy Lane. This is southwest of Lakeway in the Canyon Ridge area.
Police say a large truck overturned along the roadway, pinning one person inside. Crews worked to extricate the patient from the vehicle and to transport them to a local hospital with non-critical injuries.
It’s not yet clear what caused the crash or if other vehicles were involved,
