AUSTIN, TX – Medics transported one person to the hospital with serious injuries after a car struck a pedestrian in southeast Austin Friday afternoon, reports ATCEMS.

The incident occurred around 12:12 p.m. at the intersection of Bluff Springs Road and East William Cannon Drive, which is just east of I-35.
It’s unclear how the crash happened and if the driver remained at the scene. Authorities say that the pedestrian sustained critical injuries. A full investigation is underway.
