NEW BRAUNFELS, TX – One person went to the hospital following a multi-vehicle collision along the the interstate in southeast Comal County on Saturday, reports KENS5.

Police say the incident happened on Saturday afternoon in the 1600 block of I-35 North, which is just north of TX-46.

Authorities have not commented on how the crash happened but say that five vehicles were involved and that one person sustained non-critical injuries.

Officials closed the northbound lanes of I-35 in the vicinity of the crash while crews worked to clear the scene.
