AUSTIN, TX – One person sustained serious injuries early Sunday in a major solo crash in east-central Austin, reports ATCEMS.

The incident occurred around 1:29 a.m. on the southbound side of the Ed Bluestein Service Road, just north of Boggy Creek and south of Hudson Street.
Police haven’t yet disclosed the cause of the accident. They say that one person became entrapped in their vehicle and required extrication.
Medics transported the victim to Dell Seton as a trauma alert. They are expected to survive.
Officials urged drivers to avoid this area of Ed Bluestein while crews attended to the victim and worked to clear the wreckage.
The investigation is ongoing.
