AUSTIN, TX – A 21-year-old man died Sunday when his motorcycle collided with two other vehicles in the Crestview area of Austin, reports KVUE.
The accident happened at 9:11 p.m. near the intersection of Burnet Road and Richcreek Road. This is just southwest of Northcross Shopping Center.
The cause and circumstances of the wreck remain under investigation. Austin Police say the motorcycle was involved in crashes with both an SUV and a pickup truck and that the driver of the pickup truck was intoxicated at the time of the accident.
Medics transported the motorcyclist, identified as Brayan Cuellar, to an area hospital, where he died from injuries sustained in the crash.
No other injuries have been reported in connection to the accident. Both the driver of the SUV and the driver of the pickup stopped to render aid and speak with authorities.
Officials arrested the driver of the pickup truck on DWI charges.
