AUSTIN, TX – One person died, and one other sustained injuries Saturday in a multi-vehicle motorcycle crash in south Austin.
According to KVUE, the accident happened before 11 a.m. on the northbound service road for I-35 between Brandt Road and West Slaughter Lane.
Police haven’t yet determined the cause of the wreck, which they say involved multiple motorcycles and a passenger vehicle.
The motorcyclists were riding in the annual Ride for the Fallen when the collision occurred.
Authorities haven’t released the name of the deceased motorcyclist.
They say that one other person may have sustained injuries.
