AUSTIN, TX – A pedestrian died Friday morning after a vehicle struck them at a busy intersection in east-central Austin, reports KXAN.
The incident happened sometime before 6:48 a.m. on the eastbound side of FM 969 near Regency Drive, which is just south of Harvey Penick Golf Campus and east of the 183 Toll Road.
Police have not released many details about the collision. The adult pedestrian died at the scene of the crash.
It is unclear at this time if the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene.
A full investigation is underway.
