MANOR, TX – One person died, and another was airlifted Saturday after a multi-vehicle accident involving an 18-wheeler on US-290 in Manor, reports CBS Austin.

Police say the incident happened around 11:46 p.m. just west of Voelker Avenue on the eastbound side of US 290 Highway.

Authorities have not yet commented on how the crash happened. Emergency crews extricated one person who had become entrapped in their vehicle. Medics transported that person via STAAR flight to an area hospital.

A second adult died at the scene of the accident.

A full investigation is underway.
