AUSTIN, TX – A person was killed in a crash on westbound Hwy 71 this past Sunday, reports KXAN.

The collision happened around 8:20 p.m. at 4535 East Hwy 71. A driver in a semi and a motorcyclist collided in the westbound lanes of the highway.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene. No others were injured.

What led up to the crash is unknown at this time.
