GRIMES CO., TX – A fatality has been reported in connection to a major crash that happened Saturday in southern Grimes County.
According to KBTX 3, the accident occurred sometime in the afternoon at the intersection of TX-249 and County Road 304. This is about 40 miles southeast of College Station.
Police haven’t disclosed the cause of the wreck, which they say involved multiple vehicles.
One person died at the scene, and several others became entrapped in their vehicles and sustained injuries.
Authorities have not released the name of the deceased.
