AUSTIN, TX – Police are investigating a single-vehicle rollover that killed one person Tuesday in south Austin, reports KVUE.

The accident happened just after 10:30 p.m. at the intersection of East Stassney Lane and the northbound frontage road for I-35. This is just northwest of McKinney Falls State Park.

There’s no word yet regarding the cause of the accident, which left a victim pinned with fatal injuries beneath their vehicle. 

Authorities have not yet disclosed the victim’s identity. 

Drivers likely experienced lengthy delays near this intersection while crews worked to clear the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
