AUSTIN, TX – Austin-Travis County EMS tweeted that it was at the scene of a crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian Tuesday night that left one person hospitalized.
The incident happened in the area of East Mockingbird Lane and South Congress Avenue in south Austin, where medics responded at about 8:49 p.m.
A trauma alert was declared for an adult patient who was taken to South Austin Medical Center with injuries that were described as critical and life-threatening. No information was released on the circumstances that led to the crash.
