AUSTIN, TX – One person suffered critical injuries due to a single-vehicle collision Monday night on Colorado Street in downtown Austin, according to Austin Travis County EMS (ATCEMS).
The incident took place at the intersection with West 5th Street, just two blocks east from Republic Square. It was first reported at about 10:12 p.m.
Little information has been provided at this time, but both ATCEMS and Austin Fire Department crews were dispatched to the scene, where one vehicle had overturned.
One adult patient had to be administered CPR before being transported to Dell Seton Medical Center for injuries deemed critical and life-threatening. Officials have not clarified whether the patient was the driver or a passenger.
