AUSTIN, TX – One person sustained critical injuries in a single-vehicle crash near downtown Austin on Sunday, reports ATCEMS.

The accident happened at 6:45 p.m. at the intersection of East 7th Street and Comal Street, which is just west of Huston Tillotson University in east Austin.
There’s no word yet regarding the cause of the accident. Police say the victim became entrapped in their vehicle and required extrication.
Medics transported the victim with critical injuries and on a trauma alert to Dell Seton Medical Center.
