AUSTIN, TX – Icy road conditions caused a fatal crash involving ten vehicles and a pedestrian on a ramp to Ben White Boulevard in South Austin on Tuesday, reports KXAN.
The incident happened just after 6 a.m. on an eastbound entrance ramp near South Congress Boulevard, which is just a few blocks north of St. Edwards University.
The circumstances of the crash remain unclear, but police say several ambulances responded to the scene. One adult from one of the vehicles died in the accident.
It is unclear if anyone else sustained injuries in the collision. A full investigation is underway.
