AUSTIN, TX – Three people, including one child, sustained injuries Friday morning in a two-vehicle crash in South Austin, reports ATCEMS.

The accident occurred at 10:33 a.m. at the intersection of Menchaca Road and Boyds Way, which is just east of Bauerle Ranch Park.
Police say that a child was thrown from one of the vehicles and sustained life-threatening injuries. Medics transported the child to Dell Children’s Hospital.
Two adults also went to the hospital, one with serious injuries and the other with minor injuries.
There’s no word yet regarding the cause of the collision.
Drivers likely experienced significant delays along Menchaca Road while emergency teams worked at the scene.
