MUSTANG RIDGE, TX – One adult died early Saturday morning after two vehicles collided on a highway about 17 miles south of Austin, reports KVUE.

The incident happened around 4:30 a.m. on the northbound side of Highway 183 near Old Lockhart Road, which is just north of State Route 21.

Police have not yet commented on how the crash happened but have said that one person died at the scene.

Medics transported a second person to the hospital with injuries.

A full investigation is underway.
