LAMPASAS, TX – A 66-year-old woman died Saturday when her car collided with another car on the highway in Lampasas, reports KWTX 10.
Police say the incident happened around 3:46 p.m. on US-281 south of Adamsville.
The investigation thus far indicates that the woman lost control of her northbound 2017 Mercedes, veered into the southbound lane, and then struck the front of a northbound 2018 Audi sedan.
The victim, identified as Stephanie Diane Clements, died at the scene of the accident.
Additionally, medics transported two people from the Audi to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
A full investigation is underway.
