AUSTIN, TX – Officials have reported a fatality in connection to a two-vehicle accident that happened last week in east-central Austin.
According to KXAN, the collision occurred just after 3 a.m. along Airport Boulevard between East 38 1/2 and East 40th Streets. This is just east of Cherrywood.
Police haven’t yet commented on the circumstances of the wreck except to say that one person became pinned in their vehicle.
Authorities pronounced one person deceased at the scene of the crash. They’ve not yet released the name of the victim.
One person went to the hospital with serious injuries, and another five were transported with minor injuries.
