AUSTIN, TX – One person died, and two others were hospitalized Tuesday afternoon after two vehicles collided along a busy roadway in east Austin, reports CBS Austin.

The incident happened on the northbound side of the Ed Bluestein Boulevard service road, just past Techni Center Drive. This is just west of the Walnut Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant.

Officials have not shared many details regarding the collision except to note that one person died at the scene after medics attempted CPR. Two other occupants sustained serious injuries and went to Dell Seton Medical Center.
