AUSTIN, TX – One person died, and another person went to the hospital Sunday after a collision involving two vehicles in east-central Austin, reports KXAN.

The incident happened around around 4 p.m. on FM 969 near Blue Bluff Road, which is just south of Walter E. Long Metropolitan Park.

Police have not yet shared many details regarding the circumstances of the accident. They say that one person died at the scene of the collision while the other was hospitalized with critical injuries.
