AUSTIN, TX – A man died on Sunday from injuries he sustained in a two-vehicle collision along the interstate in South Austin.
According to KVUE, the crash occurred around 1:40 p.m. on the southbound ramp from I-35 to westbound Ben White Boulevard. This is just south of St. Edward’s University.
Police are investigating what might have caused the accident. They say the victim died at the scene after becoming pinned under one of the vehicles. Authorities have not yet released his identity.
Medics evaluated one other person at the scene for injuries. It’s unclear at this time if that person required hospitalization.
