The incident occurred at 4:40 p.m. in the area of 4200 East TX-71 eastbound, which is just north of Austin Bergstrom International Airport.
Authorities have not yet commented on the circumstances that led to the crash. They say that at least one vehicle overturned, ejecting one person. Emergency teams performed CPR at the scene before transporting three people to local hospitals.
Drivers likely experienced delays along TX_71 near the airport while officials gathered evidence and crews worked to clear the scene.
