AUSTIN, TX – Medics transported two people to the hospital after a collision involving two vehicles in southeast Austin early Monday morning, reports CBS Austin.

The incident happened around 12:22 a.m. at the intersection of the 183 Toll Southbound and the East Ben White Westbound Ramp, which is just east of the Montopolis area and just north of Austin Bergstrom International Airport.

Police have not shared many details about the collision. They say that one person became pinned in their vehicle and required extrication. That person sustained serious injuries in the crash and went to the hospital for treatment.

One additional patient also went to the hospital with non-critical injuries.
