DEL VALLE, TX – A crash involving two vehicles near the Circuit of the Americas in Del Valle killed one person and injured a child.
According to CBS Austin, two vehicles collided around 5:35 a.m. Sunday in the area of 13000 FM 812 Road, which is near the intersection with Piland Triangle.
Police haven’t yet shared any details about how the crash happened. They say it involved three people in two vehicles. One person died at the scene, and a child went to the hospital with potentially critical injuries.
Officials encouraged drivers to expect delays along FM 812 for several hours while crews investigated and worked to clear the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
