AUSTIN, TX – One person sustained serious injuries when two vehicles collided on a busy roadway in southeast Austin on Monday morning, reports ATCEMS.

The incident happened around 6:54 a.m. just northwest of Bluff Springs and west of Onion Creek Metropolitan Park.
Emergency crews say that the collision threw one person from their vehicle. Medics transported that patient on a trauma alert to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center.
One other person declined treatment at the scene.
