ROUND ROCK, TX – Police say two drivers were injured when an 18-wheeler and a car collided in Round Rock early Thursday morning, according to KXAN.

The crash happened in the vicinity of Hesters Crossing Road and the southbound Interstate 35 frontage road near the Hesters Crossing Shopping Center, and was reported at about 1:50 a.m.

The drivers were hospitalized but their injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.  The accident also caused the truck to spill fuel onto the roadway.

Hesters Crossing Road was shut down for over seven hours while the scene was being cleared and both vehicles were removed.
