AUSTIN, TX – Medics transported two adult patients to the hospital Thursday morning after a serious collision in east Austin, reports ATCEMS.

The incident happened sometime before 6:41 a.m. near the intersection of N FM 973 and the southbound service road of N SH 130.
It’s unclear how the crash happened, but Austin-Travis County EMS reported that one of two occupants has to be extricated from the vehicle. That person sustained critical, life-threatening injuries. The other person sustained non-critical injuries. Medics took both patients to Dell Seton.
