AUSTIN, TX – Medics transported two adults to the hospital Sunday after a crash involving seven or eight vehicles along the interstate in central Austin, reports KVUE.
The incident happened around 6:45 p.m. in the area of 3400 Interstate Highway 35, which is between Concordia Avenue and East 32nd Street.
Authorities have not released any details regarding the crash except to say that seven or eight vehicles were involved and that two people sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Officials closed all southbound lanes of the interstate while police investigated and crews worked to clear the scene.
A full investigation is underway to determine the cause and circumstances of the wreck.
