AUSTIN, TX – Two people went to the hospital Wednesday morning following a major accident with entrapment in far east Austin, reports ATCEMS.

The incident occurred around 9:40 a.m. near the intersection of TX-130 and FM-169, which is north of Tesla in the Hornsby Bend area.
The cause and circumstances of the accident are still unknown. Police say that at least one vehicle overturned, entrapping two people.
Following extrication, medics took two people to Dell Seton Medical Center. One of the patients was listed as a trauma alert, but medics predict they will both recover.
