AUSTIN, TX – Two people suffered critical injuries following a collision in northern Austin on Thursday reports the Austin-Travis County EMS.
First responders were on the scene of a two-vehicle collision near Mesa Drive and FM 2222 around 3:30 p.m. Two victims involved had to be extricated from their vehicles.

They were both transported to Dell Seton Medical Center with critical, life-threatening injuries.
The cause of the crash was not immediately known.
