AUSTIN, TX – Two people suffered major injuries after a collision with an 18-wheeler in North Austin early Wednesday morning.
Austin-Travis County EMS responded to the crash just after 12:30 a.m. near the intersection of N Lamar Boulevard and W Braker Lane.

Crews extricated one of the victims who was pinned in their vehicle. They were taken to Dell Seton Medical Center with critical, life-threatening injuries.
The other person was transported to the hospital as a trauma patient with serious injuries.
A third person involved refused medical treatment at the scene. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
