AUSTIN, TX – One person went to the hospital Friday morning after a T-bone collision at a busy intersection in north Austin, reports CBS Austin.

The incident occurred around the start of rush hour, just after 7 a.m., near the intersection of Denton Drive and Metric Boulevard, which is between US-183 and Braker Lane.

It’s still unclear how the the crash happened, but police say one vehicle T-boned another vehicle at the intersection.

Photos taken at the scene depict a black SUV with front-end damage.

Medics took one person on a trauma alert to St. David’s Round Rock.
