AUSTIN, TX – Authorities reported a fatality late Sunday night after a two-vehicle crash at a busy intersection in north Austin, reports CBS Austin.

Emergency teams responded to the accident around 10 p.m. at West Parmer Lane and McNeil Drive, which is just west of McNeil High School in the Milwood area. 

Police say a vehicle and a motorcycle collided in the intersection for reasons that are still under investigation.

One person died at the scene of the accident. Officials have not yet disclosed their identity to the public.

Drivers encountered delays in the area of the crash while crews worked to attend to the victim and clear the scene. 

The investigation is ongoing.
