CEDAR CREEK, TX – A two-vehicle collision near Highway 71 in west-central Bastrop County killed one person on Tuesday night, reports CBS Austin.

The incident happened at 11:25 p.m. near the intersection of 71 and Enchanted Cove in Cedar Creek, which is about 25 miles southeast of Austin.

Police haven’t yet shared any details about the circumstances of the accident, and they’ve not released the name of the victim.

No other injuries have been discussed thus far in connection to the crash.
