AUSTIN, TX – One person went to the hospital Wednesday after their vehicle collided with a semi-truck in northwest Austin.
The accident occurred just before 8:40 p.m. in the area of 7300 McNeil Drive, which is between Jekel Circle and San Felipe Boulevard in the Los Indios neighborhood.
The cause of the crash is still unknown. Police say that one of the vehicles crashed through a metal barrier and that two people appear to have been ejected from their vehicle. Crews found them in the roadway.
One of the victims sustained serious injuries. Police have not shared their identity at this time.
A full investigation is underway.
